O=. What I took away from this might not necessarily been what Paul was exactly talking about, but it’s what it spoke to me and that is Family. Meaning Sara and I are the roots of our household and if we are firmly planted in God’s word then our boys really have no choice, but to branch off of what we have established and live the same way!  Its our job to keep our roots watered in the word daily, keeping it fresh and alive so that the boys have no reason to spoil, they will see the fruit we have produced and will want the same for their lives and their households.  It’s my job to plant the ability to be a good husband in them, its our job as parents to teach them the right ways to do things, if were ever to have a little Girl, it would be sara’s job to teach her how to be a lady and eventually how to be a wife, but not until she’s like 35!
A=. Simply put I believe I need to be that strong Christian man that my boys can look at and say ” that’s my dad and that’s how I want to be”. I strive to be a good Christian man and I just pray that I do the things my family needs me to do for them in a way that honors God and yet still puts my wife on a higher platform than she could ever imagine and teach my kids by my actions how they should treat their future girlfriends and wives

Father I pray for my family that we grow in you you, that we are planted in your word God and that we can be a light in your eye, that can shine down as a testimony of what you can do foe other families that might feel as their is no hope!  Through prayer and daily dying to self anyone can find you and I pray that you open their eyes and let them know you have never left them alone, your hands are full of a rich soil that we can all plant our lives in God and I thank you for that!  In Jesus name I pray Amen!

God gave me these 3 verses on love & I especially like 1st Peter 4:8. True love does cover all sin. It doesn’t mask it, it covers it in the blood of Jesus and by his stripes all transgressions or past sins are gone!
1st John 2:15
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
Ephesians 5:28
In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
1st Peter 4:8
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
