Romans 14:22
S=. You may believe there’s nothing wrong with what you are doing, but keep it between yourself and God. Blessed are those who don’t feel guilty for doing something they have decided is right.
O=. I chose this one because A, there have been multiple conversations in our small group about these type of things, and b  it seems to be kind of a dangerous scripture as well.
So my observation of it is this :  There are a ton of verses on this subject, but my belief is that it comes down to your convictions, and your ability not to get drunk.  I personally gave it up because I couldn’t drink just one, if I had one I was going to have 20, but Sara can have a glass of wine with dinner and be good, therefor I believe that by the scripture it is a sin for me to drink, but it’s okay for Sara!
The danger part comes in I thought on people who might read this who are unsure of their faith, I’m reading out of the NLT, and it says those who don’t feel guilty… For doing something that is right, well if they don’t have an understanding of more of the scripture, than that can be scary and lead to a very wide path headed on the wrong direction
A=. I just need to dig into his word more and more and be like a sponge so that I can discern what the scriptures truly mean, but at the same time if I’m struggling with something, I can’t let my pride get in the way of learning.  Meaning that it’s okay to ask questions.  I believe that a wise man has many council
P=. Father I pray that I learn to not just read the scriptures, but come to fully understand your word and to know that if I don’t understand it, then I should come to you first, pray about it and meditate in it. God I pray that we as a family strive to be more like Jesus and never let anything get in our way of seeking you and living for you.  In Jesus name I pray. Amen!!!
Y=. In Romans 2:6 it says He will judge everyone according to what they have done.  As my word says I will judge everyone for what they have done, don’t make it your job to do my job!  Live a life pleasing to me and have no doubt that you shall enter my kingdom!  If you are worrying about the judgement of others than just as you said above that is something you are convicted of and should be stopped otherwise know that you are living for me and worry not for you are a child of the most high God
