Romans 5:3-5
S=.  We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.  And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
O=. Problems are like aging, it’s going to happen, it’s just how are you going to deal with it. You can either get older and know that God has blessed you and made you whole again or you can stress and worry and end up making your self sick because you’re getting ready to turn 30 or 40 or whatever age. Would life be better if there were no problems?  Yes, but as it talks about later in this same chapter, that went out the window when Adam sinned against man, which brought sin into all of our lives.  God created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it so as it says in Mark 10:27 With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  So dig in become closer and closer to God everyday and know that through any obstacle rather it be you, your wife,your kids, family, or even friends that God is there with you every step and he will never leave you nor forsake you and if you will just press in he can restore and make you whole again  Where a huge hole once was, God fills that void with a soft heart and love and let’s you know that we have all fallen short of the glory of God!
A=. Galatians 2:20. I say live this scripture like it’s the only thing you know!
My old self has been crucified with Christ. s It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. He didn’t just give himself for me, He took all sickness and disease all hurt and pain when he took up his cross!  I’m going to kill my flesh daily, seek God and be the man that he made me to be, the husband I strive to be and the provider that I know I can be!
P=. Father thank you for dying on the cross for us even though saying thank you is not enough, I pray that i say thank you through my actions not only when I am around my Godly influences, but when I am at work in the hard situations where I’m outnumbered 15 or even 20 to 1.  Give me the strength to carry myself in a way that you carried yourself on earth God.  Father I thank you that you’ve changed who I once was and you saved me from a life of destruction and delivered me into a place where I enjoy life and not only bask in your Glory, but you’ve given me my own personal Angel to spend each and every day with, and have two beautiful kids with.  I love you God and here is to seeking you more and more everyday!
Y=. God is speaking the word Marriage to me!
Men don’t treat your wives like they’re just another one of your buddies, treat them like they are 24 karat gold, treat them like they are your best friend, your lover, your confidant, live your life striving to become closer to Jesus and without a shadow of doubt your soul mate will fall right in line. The women in our lives are special and if you get a chance let them know how great they are, actually make time daily to let them know how appreciated they are. I believe if I get nothing else out of this, that it’s simply the marriage lies squarely on the shoulders of the man because as the bible says the wives are to submit to their husbands, but I think we all know that if we aren’t trying to please God and instead we are to worried about ourselves, then it is next to impossible for them to do what is asked of them!  I believe that’s why in this chapter it repeatedly says Adam sinned against God, because it’s our duty to make sure our house is ran in a Christ like environment and to be the provider as well as the rock she sits on as we wash her feet!!!!
